Paste StackTOOL 04 / 05

Sequential multi-paste

Collect once.
Paste in order.

Queue several clips from history, move back to the destination, and let the same shortcut paste the next item each time.

The complete gesture

Five fields.
One trip to history.

Paste Stack removes the repeated drawer–document round trip from forms, invoices, test data, and any task with a known sequence.

01

Build the queue

Open Pastry, find the first value, and press Shift–Return. Repeat for each clip in the order the destination expects.

⇧ ↵
02

Return to the work

The stack stays in memory while you move through fields or applications. Its numbered order remains visible whenever the drawer is open.

01-05
03

Paste the next item

Use Pastry’s global shortcut at each destination. The next queued clip is inserted and removed from the stack until the queue is empty.

⌘ ⇧ V

The boundary

A queue, not a second history.

Paste Stack only keeps the ordered references needed for the current sequence. Clear it at any time; the original clips remain in history under their normal retention rules.

Useful when
01

Entering the same set of account details across several forms

02

Pasting a prepared QA sequence into an application

03

Moving mixed values without switching back after every field

Stop re-copying
what you already copied.

It takes about ninety seconds to install and one afternoon to stop being able to work without it.
